Board Member

David is a lawyer and the current Policy Director at the Community Council for Australia, a membership-based peak body that supports and amplifies the work of charities and the not-for-profit sector across Australia. He has helped drive consumer outcomes and law reform across telecommunications and a range of other essential services that Australians rely on. David previously worked for Consumer Action Law Centre, where he served as a consumer representative on the Australian Communications and Media Authority's Consumer Consultative Forum and the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman's Consumer Panel. He has also run a civil law representation service at Redfern Legal Centre, provided legal services for native title holders at NTSCORP, and practised as a consumer lawyer at Legal Aid NSW.
