JOIN THE CALL FOR BETTER

ACCAN’s purpose is to work for communications services that are trusted, inclusive, accessible and available for all.  As the peak national communications body for consumers, it is our role to provide policy, research and evidence informed solutions to key decisions that impact consumers.  We are a national, consumer-driven, not-for-profit, non-party political organisation.

Our members and stakeholders provide us with a rich source of input essential to informing our positions. This may take the form of advice on ACCAN’s policy work, consultative forums, surveys or supporting consumers to tell their story either to ACCAN or through the media. All of these activities are important to guiding our strategic direction.

Whether it be consumer protections from unconscionable practices or anti scam safeguards, the complexity of policy amendments in regulatory power and industry codes and standards, or mobile and broadband connectivity and affordability issues, ACCAN is working towards better outcomes for all consumers.
